If You’ve Ever Thought…
What if I do this wrong? What if it molds? What if I waste food? What if I’m just not capable of this? You’re exactly who I made this for. Fermentation isn’t complicated but it can feel intimidating when the instructions are scattered, contradictory, or fear-based. This guide removes the noise and shows you how to ferment simply, safely, and confidently at home.
Why Fermentation Is Such a Powerful First Skill
A thriving kitchen is created out of thin air. It starts with implementing one skill at a time, so your kitchen falls into a natural rhythm.
Build real confidence in your kitchen Improve digestion and nourishment naturally
Reduce food waste Save money on grocery staples
Stop relying on expensive store-bought “health foods”
What you'll learn
What fermentation actually is (and why it’s safer than you think)
Exact salt ratios that work every time
What normal fermentation looks, smells, and tastes like
How to avoid common beginner mistakes
How to know when your ferment is ready
You’ll walk away seeing how easy it really is
The Financial Side (Let's Save Cash)
Store-bought ferments are expensive. A single jar of sauerkraut can cost $9–$12. A homemade batch costs under $1. Same food. More nutrition. No markup. Once you learn the skill, you don’t keep paying for it. You use it again and again.
Why I created this guide
I’m Molly Bravo Chef, educator, and founder of Wylder Space. I’ve spent years learning these old world ways and rebuilding my own kitchen around nourishment, rhythm, and resilience. I created this free guide because I’ve seen how many capable people think they “can’t do this,” when all they needed was clear instruction and reassurance.
This Guide Is For You If…
You want to try fermentation but fear has held you back You care about feeding your family well You want to save money without sacrificing quality You’re ready to take the first step. You don’t need a homestead. You don’t need a pantry overhaul. You just need to make a decision to begin.
